We were only a small party (about a dozen) but everything was ready for us and the staff were polite, welcoming and attentive.
The buffet and freshly prepared urn of carrot and coriander soup were excellent, as was the comprehensive selection of sandwiches, cakes and fresh cream scones. We also had the benefit of unlimited tea and coffee as promised.
The price per head was £7.50 including a private room which we felt was really great value.
